I think I’ll stick with supporting the real homebrew stores for ingredients. They understand the quirks of what they’re shipping and seem to take better care in packaging it correctly.
Much cheaper to by but the sack, even with that discount. $36 for 50lb of Great Western 2row at my lhbs

Looks like it’s over.
The question is, how fresh are their grains, etc.? It’s one thing to buy a thermometer or other equipment on there (I have) but is their grain/hop/yeast inventory turned over quickly? Are they storing these things in Arctic or hot conditions in a warehouse somewhere?
I love Amazon and wear out my Prime membership. Not saying I wouldn’t use them for this stuff. I’m just a little leery until they become a significant retailer in the homebrewing space.
