My rule of thumb for unmilled grain storage is 5 lbs per gallon. 24 quarts is 6 gallons. At 5 lbs per gallon a 6 gallon container would hold about 30 lbs of grain. That’s a rough estimate based on an assumed capacity. Actual storage capacity will vary.
