- SAVE SPACE AND PRESERVE FLAVOR: The stackable Vittles Vault saves space and keeps food fresher for longer. Our Gamma Seal Technology features a threaded locking system and double gaskets for controlled moisture balance, ensuring your pet's food stays tasty.
- SAY GOODBYE TO PESKY PESTS: In addition to locking in flavor and pet food smells, Gamma Seal Technology keeps ants and other pests out of this pet food storage container. Vittles Vault is perfect for storing birdseed, cat and dog kibble, goat feed, and more dry food.
- FOOD-SAFE AND BPA-FREE: The Vittles Vault dog and cat food storage container is made from food-grade, durable, BPA-free HDPE plastic. While it is suitable for indoor and covered outdoor use, storing it in climate-controlled spaces is recommended.
- STORAGE CAPACITY: The capacity of each Vittles Vault is based on kibble shape and density. Larger kibble (about the size of a dime) often requires a container one or two sizes larger than the weight of the pet food. When in doubt, round up to the next size.
- GAMMA2: Vittles Vault is manufactured in the USA with quality and craftsmanship you can trust. Gamma2 constructs superior pet products through intelligent designs to enrich your pet's life and simplify yours.
- The Vittles Vault line of stackable containers are very popular for bulk grain storage. These have a stated 60 lb capacity (rating is for pet food) but the 60 lb size can generally hold more in a back down orientation. Actual storage capacity will vary.

I’m looking into getting something like that. However, I’ve been told 50 pounds of kibble is not 50 pounds of grain. Kibble has a lot more space between kernels. I’ve been told the 40 pound vittles vault is a better size for 50 pounds of grain.
Hi Lee, Yes pet food doesn’t equal grain volume. You’re right that you can typically get more grain vs pet food and 50 lbs in a 40 lb container is generally doable. for the stacking angled vittles vault like this sometimes it’s necessary to orient the container on it’s back to get 50 lbs in. The larger 60 lb version gives you some more breathing room.
I use a 13 gallon Vittles Vault as a fermenter and it works great!
