TRIPLE Rewards Points = 15% Back – Is this still a good deal?
Adventures in Homebrewing’s Rewards program typically offers about 5% back. Each qualifying item earns 1 point per dollar. 200 points gets you a $10 discount code.
For a limited time, they’re giving triple points back. That equates to about 15% back on most things including many sale items.
MAP items are generally excluded. I’ve never seen a product marked as MAP on AIH’s website although I know some lines should be MAP so this is a bit of a question mark.
You must be logged in to earn rewards and points expire after 12 months (as of this posting)
Rewards <<< Important, go to this page to double check that 5x rewards points are still being offered.
Is this a good deal??
At the end of the day the price to your door is what matters. The problem is that AIH’s prices are have gotten to be high on many things. I’ll take two kegs as an example….
Pin Lock Kegs – $86.93 or $59.90?
- Pin Lock Kegs are selling for a whopping $79.99
- Shipping is an extra cot. For me it’s about $18.94. That’s going to vary based on location.
- If you count the 15% back as cash value that brings the kegs down to $67.99
- That’s roughly $86.93 per keg shipped.
Or $49.95 + flat rate

This is a re-conditioned 5 Gallon Pin Lock, Soda Keg (Coke style). This keg has been cleaned and soaked in a hot “Brew Clean” solution, re-rinsed, lubed and re-pressurized to check the seals. The kegs are in good shape, but could have small dings, dents or scratches. The lid features a gasket seal and a static pressure release valve. These will not effect the function of the kegs. Many have stickers on the outside. They might be of either Cornelius, Firestone (also called Spartenburg) or Italian construction. All types of kegs are manufactured to the same specifications and are of the same quality. The lids and O-rings are interchangeable. We fully guarantee your satisfaction with the kegs you purchase.
