Back in Stock… OVERSIZE Food Grade Silicone Keg Dip Tube O-Rings – for outliers & problem kegs
From Valuebrew:
Announcing Over-size Dip Tube O-Rings! We’ve The vast majority of kegs work well with out standard sized dip tube o-rings available in both food grade silicone and food grade EPDM. However a small number of kegs require a larger dip tube o-ring. Beyond that some kegs are dinged up and leak using the standard size even when they shouldn’t. These are slightly larger than our standard dip tubes (.55 OD vs .50 OD) and made from the same food grade silicone we use for the standard size.
Update: Valuebrew has generally struggled to keep some offerings in stock. They must have received a shipment because I noticed several offerings are now back in stock.
Keg Dip Tube O-Rings – Food Safe Silicone – OVERSIZE
- Standard Offering: Keg Dip Tube O-Rings – Food Safe Silicone
- All Dip Tube Options

More About Food Safe Materials: For whatever reason, it’s difficult to find food safe keg o-rings. Maybe some of the o-rings that are available are food safe, but very few are actually labeled as such.
The fact is we’re putting beer (food) in our kegs and we should be using food safe materials whenever we can. More Info: Food Safe Replacement Keg O-Rings
Finally a food safe option! Valuebrew has a selection of silicone food grade o-rings. They also have replacement universal poppet o-rings and internal QD o-rings, also food grade.
