Potential Uses: Help with cleanup on brew day, make your kegs shine like new (see photo below) and use around the kitchen and for BBQ. I use similar gloves when I apply rub for smoking meats. It helps to prevent against cross contamination and I also like that it helps keep my hands from smelling like… bbq rub. OPERATE
Neither clog up the entrance of the pump nor suck any dirty liquids.
Should the pump be used on a dirty surface, lift it a bit so that a contact with debris is avoided.
To lower the flood of water, use the control lever located on the side of the pump.
Immerse the pump into the water before connecting it to the plug.
At the very beginning, the pump may not work out properly as it might have some air inside,
So just take it off the water and immerse it again: it will surely work out.

PRECAUTIONS
Always disconnect the plug before handling the pump.
Do not use it without water.
Do not grab it using its cable.
Use only cold water.
Use the pump only if completely immersed.

UPKEEP
Remove the frontal part of the pump and the fan and wash them under flowing water.
Do not remove the drum of the pump.
Remove the frontal part and check that the fan runs the proper way.
Check the pump monthly and make sure the pump and its exit are free of obstruction.

Potential Uses:

I use a similar pump (different manufacturer, features and specifications) for a recirculating draft line cleaning setup. Note that fittings sizes are different on this pump vs the one I use in that build. Adjust accordingly
As part of a recirculating wort chiller setup (on the chilled water side).

This looks very similar to the pump featured in Sourcing a Replacement Pump for Mark’s Keg and Carboy Washer – the only thing I’m seeing that’s different is a 3 prong cord vs 2 prong

I use these bus tubs (7 gallon size) on brew day and beyond for a number of purposes.

I use these to cart around gear and ingredients – saving trips back and forth.
As brew day starts, I’ll keep a dry/clean bus tub and a wet/needs to be cleaned bus tub. Having two helps me keep clean things clean. That means less unnecessary cleaning.
If I’m using my pump, I’ll keep one below that. It catches drips and also offers a place to store wet items such as stirring spoons, mash paddles, my mash stirring whisk and my equally invaluable 1 gallon pitchers.
The ridges on the bottom make these a great place to drain and dry just cleaned gear.
When these are unused, they stack together to save space and offer a nice place to store brew day items.
Another potential use: ice down your favorite beverages for get-togethers.

The ball lock is compatible with both gas and beverage disconnects, so you can charge the PET bottle before you leave the house and dispense on the go. Use the Duotight compatible stem to connect a 8mm or 9.5mm reducer, then attach EVABarrier draft line to serve as your dip tube and you’re all set!

These caps also work great for quickly and conveniently cleaning your draft lines. Mix up a small batch of line cleaning solution in a soda bottle, attach the ball lock cap, and then connect it to your beverage line. Place a bucket below your tap to catch the cleaning solution and open your faucet. Then simply turn the bottle upside down and squeeze it to push solution through your line and out the faucet. You can also choose to pressurize the bottle first, but squeezing the solution through is just as effective.

Fermenting with the FermZilla? This is ball lock fitting is also compatible with the FermZilla Collection Container. If you use the collection container to add dry hops, attach one of these caps and you’ll be able purge the container of oxygen before opening the dump valve to introduce the hops. Attach some tubing and diffusion stone and you can oxygenate your wort through the collection container as well!

What are these used for?

PET Bottles as Growlers: These are generally intended to convert 1L and 2L bottles to growlers. Fill up a 1L or 2L PET bottle with your favorite homebrew. Put one of these on (purge the headspace by squeezing if you want to) and then pressurize for transport. This should help to reduce oxygen pickup and maintain carbonation levels.
Fine tune or rapidly carbonate beer: You can also use this cap to rapidly carbonate beer. Same process as for transport, just set your regulator to the proper pressure and shake or agitate the PET bottle to help introduce CO2. Or hook it up to CO2 and let it sit in you kegerator.
Flushing Carboys, Fermenters and Kegs – As a piece of tubing the barb, hook to your CO2 line and use this to flush receiving vessels wiht CO2 to reduce O2 pickup.

Potential Uses:
