I use similar mats (different model and manufacturer) and find them very handy. I use them for drying brew day gear and glassware and also underneath my fermenter in my fermentation deep freeze to improve airflow and keep the fermenter out of any condensation that might show up). I also use this in bottom of my kegerator.

This plastic ball lock cap features soda bottle threads, allowing you to convert a 1 or 2 liter soda bottle into a convenient travel growler. The ball lock is compatible with both gas and beverage disconnects, so you can charge the PET bottle before you leave the house and dispense on the go. Attach 3/16″ or 1/4″ ID tubing to the barb to serve as your dip tube and you’re all set!
These caps also work great for quickly and conveniently cleaning your draft lines. Mix up a small batch of line cleaning solution in a soda bottle, attach the ball lock cap, and then connect it to your beverage line. Place a bucket below your tap to catch the cleaning solution and open your faucet. Then simply turn the bottle upside down and squeeze it to push solution through your line and out the faucet. You can also choose to pressurize the bottle first, but squeezing the solution through is just as effective.
Fermenting with the FermZilla? This is the same ball lock fitting included with the FermZilla Pressure Kit and it’s also compatible with the FermZilla Collection Container. If you use the collection container to add dry hops, attach one of these caps and you’ll be able purge the container of oxygen before opening the dump valve to introduce the hops. Attach some tubing and diffusion stone and you can oxygenate your wort through the collection container as well!

Our new barrel washer is a back saver. We’ve done the He-Man thing and lifted barrels all over the place. As a result we’ve also been laid up in bed with a screaming lower back.
Designed to be used with standard hose pressure. Not intended for use with pressure washers.
After using designs that require you to lift barrels onto them we knew there had to be a better way. We designed our own simple washer that is inexpensive and flexible. This is one of the benefits of having a test winery and a fabrication shop!
With this design you can wash barrels via two methods.
Method 1: Wash barrels while they are on the rack. Spin them when they are empty and insert this wand through the bung hole.
Method 2: If you move barrels not on racks, roll the barrel till the bung hole is parallel to the ground and insert the spray wand. Continue to rotate the barrel, with wand inside, till you cannot go any further. The bung hole will now be pointed almost directly down. To keep the barrel from rolling place a chalk block (any block will work) on the other side to keep the barrel in place. The photo shows the angle the washer would be at if used in method 2. Because the bung hole in the barrel is not facing directly down all you need to do when you pull the washer out is to rotate the barrel down for 2 seconds and the small remaining amount of water(less than a pint) will drain out. This is a great method to avoid lifting barrels and to be able to clean them by yourself.
