Applications:

PET Bottles as Growlers: These are generally intended to convert 1L and 2L bottles to growlers. Fill up a 1L or 2L PET bottle with your favorite homebrew. Put one of these on (purge the headspace by squeezing if you want to) and then pressurize for transport. This should help to reduce oxygen pickup and maintain carbonation levels.
Fine tune or rapidly carbonate beer: You can also use this cap to rapidly carbonate beer. Same process as for transport, just set your regulator to the proper pressure and shake or agitate the PET bottle to help introduce CO2. Or hook it up to CO2 and let it sit in you kegerator.

An all stainless male gas ball lock cap that fits 38mm plastic PET growler bottles. This allows the PET Growler to be charged with C02 from any female ball lock gas fitting (like our item D32 or D03 Gas Connector), carbonating the cold beverage in the bottle including cold water. Cap threading is industry standard 38-400 growler threading.

This is ideal for adding a bit of charge to a PET growler after you fill it, as no matter how carefully you fill a PET growler from a draft system, some C02 carbonation is lost. Great for serving draft beer away from the keg. For use with plastic bottles only. Note: This does not fit PET bottles with standard PICO thread, like our item I12.

WARNING! Always wear eye protection. For use with plastic bottles only. Never exceed 20psi carbonation pressure.

This mini hand pump fits on any PET soda bottle, and can be used for everything from dispensing beer with air to cleaning draft systems with line cleaner.

To clean your kegerator or keezer beer lines lines, just fill your PET soda bottle with diluted BLC cleaner, attach your beer ball lock to the top ball lock, and pump to force cleaner through the lines and out the faucet. Let lines soak for 30 minutes with BLC in them before rinsing with warm water.

Keep in mind this hand pump is not designed for high pressures, and will only pump to about 8 PSI, which is more than enough to push cleanser through beer lines.

Applications:

PET Bottles as Growlers: These are generally intended to convert 1L and 2L bottles to growlers. Fill up a 1L or 2L PET bottle with your favorite homebrew. Put one of these on (purge the headspace by squeezing if you want to) and then pressurize for transport. This should help to reduce oxygen pickup and maintain carbonation levels.
Fine tune or rapidly carbonate beer: You can also use this cap to rapidly carbonate beer. Same process as for transport, just set your regulator to the proper pressure and shake or agitate the PET bottle to help introduce CO2. Or hook it up to CO2 and let it sit in you kegerator.

Some carbonation cap models are universal fit and some work only with gas posts. For draft line cleaning projects to work well, at least in my opinion, the carb cap that’s used needs to be universal. A growler with style! Your friends will be impressed before you ever crack the lid. ‘What is a growler?’ you ask – typically it is a plain 1 gallon glass jar with a screw cap that is used to store, move and serve your draft beer. The growler is filled from the tap (we suggest filling a cold growler from the bottom with a section of 1/2″ id tubing connected to your faucet) and then transporting to friends. This is much easier than moving a whole keg, and it limits your friends consumption of your homebrew!

This ancient looking, german-styled model, is certainly the Rolls Royce of growlers. Have you ever ridden in a Rolls Royce? I haven’t, but I imagine this growler will deliver you that same type of high-roller experience without those annoyingly spendy maintenance costs.

A #10 Stopper fits in the opening.

This is one of the first nice growlers that I purchased and I still love it. It’s very well built and looks great.
