Keg Connection has a nice diagram and parts ordering page for CM Becker Ball and Pin Lock Disconnects. These parts will work with other, compatible brands as well. Save money by replacing broken or lost parts. Choose from Caps, Springs, Stems and O-Rings.
Valuebrew has internal QD (for both ball and pin lock QDs) o-rings in bulk. These are made from food grade silicone. You can save a lot compared to buying single o-rings.
These are easy to lose or damage so it’s nice to have spares on hand.
At current prices, if you buy 10 or more of those, the price drops to $2.55 per 4 pack. That means 50 would cost you $31.88 (with the bulk discount). A pack of 50 at Valuebrew is current just $11.99. This is a point in time comparison, prices can change quickly.
Homebrew and Commercial Kegerators do the same thing. They chill beer and allow you to serve it. Each has lines for gas (typically CO2) and beer. The only difficult thing about switching back and forth are the fittings and taps.
Commercial kegs use commercial keg couplers or taps. These taps vary based on the brewery. A typical style for US kegs is Sanke type D. Commercial taps typically handle liquid and gas in single unit while homebrew couplers separate these out into gas and liquid quick disconnects.
Kegland’s DuoTight Fittings are designed to work with EVABarrier Double Wall Tubing. They offer quick, reliable connections, easy implementation, a variety of fitting options and feature amazing versatility. They’re also, generally speaking, very well priced. DuoTights are push to connect fittings and require no tubing clamps.
When DuoTights first came out, the solution for connecting kegs to EVABarrier was using an MFL QD + DuoTight Flare fitting. That works just fine and is still the only option available to pin lock keg users.
Ball Lock keg users now have a native DuoTight option. Here’s a hands on look!

This sale includes the pictured gas ball lock QD with check valve. These are marked down to just $3.99. That’s a whopping 56% off list.
The gas QD has an integrated check valve. This keeps beer from backflowing into your gas lines. That’s handy in any installation, but I specifically recommend this style of gas QD for DuoTight Installations as they allow you to skip inline check fittings and really clean up your setup. See my DuoTight Review for more on that.

Kegland is making some great stuff. Really well thought out, innovative and generally well-priced gear. When I see something new from Kegland I’m generally left with one of two responses, 1. I’ve been wanting something like this for a long time or, 2. I would have never thought of this tweak/product, it’s ingenious.
Kegland’s Ball Lock QD with integrated shank is par for the course. A really good idea. I’ll take a closer look at it in this review and also discuss the general idea behind this and similar solutions.
But first, what does a shank adapter do?
Corny Keg Faucet Adapters have been around for a long time. They allow a keg QD to connect to a compatible faucet. An MFL/male flare QD, ball lock or pin lock, connects to the FFL/female flare side of the converter. Basically you’re adding mini shank to your QD. Dandy!
Old style faucet converter and QDThis allows you connect a compatible faucet to a keg QD. No tubing necessary. Really nice for mobile serving and more.
Hands on Review: KegLand Ball Lock With Shank
Kegland’s Ball Lock QD with shank has a standard looking ball lock QD body. Instead of a flare or barb outlet it features and integrated shank and sleeve.

After a good bit of time Kegland released a DuoTight option for Ball Lock Keg Users!
CombiBarb QDs by WilliamsWarn are designed to work with both standard and EVABarrier Tubing. They have a barb that works with 1/4″ to 5/16″ ID tubing AND they work with 8 mm EVABarrer. They’re available in both gas and liquid variations.

Adjustable relief valve installs on standard ball lock keg posts
Use with any ball lock keg to control flow during closed pressure transfers
Integrated pressure gauge can be swapped out with a digital gauge or large face dial gauge for easier, more accurate readings
Adjustable black cap can be swapped out for color coded PRVs with a fixed pressure
Low-profile design only measures 1.75″ in height
This easy to use and compact pressure relief valve is super handy for keg transfers. Using a ball lock quick disconnect as the main body, the valve easily snaps onto ball lock keg posts. Adjustable relief valves are a great way to limit oxygen exposure and regulate flow during closed keg transfers, The included gauge reads from 0-30 PSI and can be swapped out with a digital gauge or large face dial gauge for easier, more accurate readings. The black pull ring cap on the other end can be rotated for adjustments, or swapped to a range of color coded PRVs for a fixed pressure.
This low-profile option only measures 1.75″ in height. It works right out of the box but has several upgrade options as shown in the images.
Warning: Never swap out the valve’s standard PRV with a color coded PRV that exceeds the pressure rating of your vessel.
Features:
Duotight fitting where the gauge attaches
This allows for upgrading the valve with a digital gauge or larger analog gauge
Manual pull ring pressure relief
This allows for you to not only adjust the pressure with the black rotary knob but also use the ring pull to instantly release pressure if you want to release manually
Option for several color coded PRVs to be used (see below)
Yellow – 17 psi
Red – 35 psi
Green – 65 psi
Gray – 100 psi
KegLand Part Number: KL29438
