This ball lock QD has an integrated check valve.  This keeps beer from backflowing into your gas lines.  That’s handy in any installation, but I specifically recommend this style of gas QD for DuoTight Installations as they allow you to skip inline check fittings and really clean up your setup.  See my DuoTight Review for more on that.

This converts a Sankey Keg so it can be easily cleaned, and used with ball lock disconnects. Includes a gas in and beer out ball lock post, as well as a 0-30 PSI pressure relief valve. A special Tri Clover gasket is included that is grooved on one side to seal the lid, and smooth on the other for a positive seal with the smooth top of the Sankey. A flexible silicone beer pick up tube hose is provided. The relief valve and posts are standard Corny style, and can be easily replaced if needed.

To fit this, you will need a Sankey Keg with a 2″ Tri-Clover opening which has had its circlip and spear removed (lots on Youtube about how to do this). Then just install the 2″ Tri-Clover gasket smooth side down, and clamp down the Tri-Clover clamp to complete your conversion. Pictured keg is not included.

This “D” type Keg Land brand all stainless coupler fits many American commercial beer kegs, including most microbrews. Includes a 3/16″ gas-in hose barb and 3/16″ hose barb outlet as pictured. Order adapter parts separately below if you want to adapt this to a system that uses home brewing ball-lock kegs. Made of all stainless steel, which is required for acid beverages like cider, wine, and coffee.

This model does not have a pressure relief valve, if a pressure relief valve is needed for your application, see our item B67.

If you are buying a Keg Land Kegerator, this includes everything you need (including hose barbs) to hook up one commercial Sanke Keg to one tower faucet and gas line. Since this is stainless, this is required for dispensing cider, wine, and coffee.

This ball lock QD has an integrated check valve.  This keeps beer from backflowing into your gas lines.  That’s handy in any installation, but I specifically recommend this style of gas QD for DuoTight Installations as they allow you to skip inline check fittings and really clean up your setup.  See my DuoTight Review for more on that.
