Plate Filter via AIH. About, from the product description: “This easy to assemble plate filter, with unique slot-fastening system, has two gaskets perfectly sealing the inner ring between both plates. Each filter session requires two filter pads (8.75″ diameter, Not Included) of the same micron.

By pushing your beer or wine through the two filter pads, the increased surface area of this filter will extract and collect more yeast and particles than other filters. A pressurized keg system, an electric pump or any other mechanism is needed to push the liquid through the filter system.”

About: “This filtration system allows you to push beer between two cornelius style kegs to clarify your final product more quickly. The filter and disconnects (DISCONNECTS ARE OPTIONAL) connect to the 3′ beer lines on each side with a stainless steel MFL connection making the line multifunctional. The 1 micron filter can only be used once so we have an option to buy additional filters.”

A 9 7/8″ stainless steel filtration unit is available as a add on. The add on allows this to function both as a beer filtration system and as a Hop Randall. A hop randall adds flavor and aroma to your beer at the time of serving and is installed inline as part of your draft system. Typically you would use whole leaf hops in a hop randall.

Hands on Review Bouncer Inline Beer Filter

Have you ever paid attention to any of those” suggested posts” on Facebook? More often than not, I just swing right by. One did catch my attention though, it was for the Bouncer. I am glad I took the time to really check it out, and contact Tim and Doug about what looked to be a really cool product. Homebrewing is filled with gadgets, and guys find really cool ways to to fix problems we run into. The Bouncer and the Bouncer MD solve all sorts of floating issues!
