A Michigan Legend, Named for the Pristine Trout Waters of the Upper Peninsula. One of our most popular recipes in the shop! This is our take on cloning the very popular Bell’s IPA. The recipe includes 2-row and light crystal malts and four ounces of Centennial hops (one for dry hopping!). It has an original gravity of 1.067, and is 6.49% by volume using our recommended “Chico ale yeast”, referred to as American Ale yeast in the drop-down yeast options.

Why you need a Mill: Milling your own grain… 1. Gives you control over the crush of your grain. That’s a big factor in efficiency. 2. A mill allows you to fine tune for your equipment and process. You know what the crush is going to be since you set it. 3. A mill allows you to save money by buying whole bags of grain at a discount, and 3. The shelf life of unmilled grain is longer than pre-milled grain. Freshly milled grain = better tasting beer.

Clean and sanitize almost every type of fermenter from 1 gallon to 14 gallons. From glass to plastic and even stainless steel, if it fits on the FastWasher Rack it will clean it.
Usage:
Place the FastWasher Rack with pump in the Cleaning and Sanitizing Tote or similar bin/sink. Fill tote or sink with your preferred cleaner solution, we recommend PBW. Lower inverted fermenter or keg over the center post so it rests on the FastWasher Rack, or Carboy adaptor if using. Plug in the pump and let the FastWasher Rack do the rest.
Note: Make sure to have a fermenter/keg on the FastWasher Rack before plugging in the unit, it will start to pump cleaner right away.
