This thermowell fits into any 8mm Hole and can literally be installed into almost any fermenter lid. Having the thermowell attach to the lid of a fermenter is ideal as it means the penetration through the fermenter body is at the top of the fermenter not below the liquid line. This makes the whole process more sanitary and reduces the number of difficult parts to clean. This thermowell can be pushed through a bung with a 6-8mm hole but it’s also includes the duotight bulkhead fitting that you can use to attach this thermowell to the lid of your KegMenter or FermZilla Fermenter. This thermowell goes right into the middle of the core of your vessel meaning you get an accurate core reading of the liquid in the tank/vessel.

Want an easy-to-use, stainless vessel that ferments and carbonates? This 58L/15.3 Gallon (size varies) keg has been modified to allow you to do both! The top is fitted with a large 4 inch tri-clamp lid with two ball lock posts and a pressure relief valve. You can use this vessel to ferment, carbonate, serve, or push the beer through a filter. The posts are recessed which allows you to stack these kegs up to 4 high. A 4″ T.C. end cap with pre drilled hole is also available (H691), which can be paired with a #3 stopper and airlock.

Depending on how long it will take to consume the finished beer, we recommend using two kegmenters, one for fermentation and one for carbonating and serving. After fermentation, there will be a large trub cake at the bottom of the vessel. Leaving finished beer on the trub for too long (2-3 weeks) may eventually lead to off-flavors. Check out our ball lock jumper line (KEG575) to easily transfer from one kegmenter to the other. Also consider our beer filter kit (FIL40), which will allow you to filter the beer during transfer.

This plastic ball lock cap features soda bottle threads, allowing you to convert a 1 or 2 liter soda bottle into a convenient travel growler. The ball lock is compatible with both gas and beverage disconnects, so you can charge the PET bottle before you leave the house and dispense on the go. Attach 3/16″ or 1/4″ ID tubing to the barb to serve as your dip tube and you’re all set!

These caps also work great for quickly and conveniently cleaning your draft lines. Mix up a small batch of line cleaning solution in a soda bottle, attach the ball lock cap, and then connect it to your beverage line. Place a bucket below your tap to catch the cleaning solution and open your faucet. Then simply turn the bottle upside down and squeeze it to push solution through your line and out the faucet. You can also choose to pressurize the bottle first, but squeezing the solution through is just as effective.

Fermenting with the FermZilla? This is the same ball lock fitting included with the FermZilla Pressure Kit and it’s also compatible with the FermZilla Collection Container. If you use the collection container to add dry hops, attach one of these caps and you’ll be able purge the container of oxygen before opening the dump valve to introduce the hops. Attach some tubing and diffusion stone and you can oxygenate your wort through the collection container as well!

The barb is Duotight compatible. If you’d like to use the cap with 8 mm OD EVABarrier tubing, see DUO100.

What are these used for?

  • PET Bottles as Growlers: These are generally intended to convert 1L and 2L bottles to growlers.  Fill up a 1L or 2L PET bottle with your favorite homebrew.  Put one of these on (purge the headspace by squeezing if you want to) and then pressurize for transport.  This should help to reduce oxygen pickup and maintain carbonation levels.
  • Fine tune or rapidly carbonate beer: You can also use this cap to rapidly carbonate beer.  Same process as for transport, just set your regulator to the proper pressure and shake or agitate the PET bottle to help introduce CO2.  Or hook it up to CO2 and let it sit in you kegerator.
  • Flushing Carboys, Fermenters and Kegs – As a piece of tubing the barb, hook to your CO2 line and use this to flush receiving vessels wiht CO2 to reduce O2 pickup.

This kit fits both the 27 and 55 Liter Fermzilla and turns the Fermzilla into a true uni tank, which is a conical fermenter for fermenting, carbonating, and dispensing. Includes two ball lock connectors that will accept either a gas or beer ball lock, a 22″ food grade silicone hose, and a stainless float ball so you always draw the clearest beer first. The plastic threads are safer to use on the plastic Fermzilla lid than stainless threads.

One of the primary uses is to ferment under pressure which reduces ester production and fusel alcohol production. That means that you can ferment warmer than you normally would, even making lagers at room temperature. Most commercial beer is fermented under pressure just due to the size of commercial tanks and the pressure that is created by the column of beer. It is one of the differences between commercial brewing and homebrewing. The Fermzilla lid has a built in relief valve that will blow at 35psi and with this kit you can also attach an external ball lock spundling valve (not included) to fine tune the pressure release.

When you are fermenting under pressure the beer is already carbonated when you are done fermenting. You can control the level of carbonation by using an adjustable pressure relief. The idea is that the FermZilla can eliminate kegging and you can serve directly from the fermenter. This saves a lot of labor and cleaning, but there will probably still be times that you want to keg. With this kit, use a ball lock beer line to connect the FermZilla to your keg and enjoy the easiest kegging experience ever. You can also choose to send carbonated beer through a beer filter on the way to your keg.

Because the beer always has a CO2 blanket through fermentation and during any transfers out, oxidation is eliminated. When you cold crash you won’t be sucking air back in through an airlock.

Cold does not rise. You will find that a beer tower elevated above a refrigerator will always remain warmer than the refrigerator, resulting in initial pours from the kegerator that are warm and foamy, followed by colder pours once you have dispensed a beer or two. At home this is a real problem, unless you pour beers in quick succession. This is the only kegerator to include a tower cooling fan as standard equipment, and also feature a fan on/off switch on the front digital control panel.

When it is time to pour a glass, the Series 4 includes a handy glass holder inside to keep your beer glasses chilled. Just open the door and grab an ice cold glass and dispense. The beauty of the KegLand Series 4 is the extended range thermostat included. Unlike kegerators with standard 30° to 50° temperature ranges, the Mark 4 can be adjusted easily with the front panel digital display from 26° to 82° F (ambient temperature permitting), which means you can also use your kegerator as a fermentation chamber for ales in summer, a small refrigerator for food items, or even a wine cellar.

The drip tray rests on top of the unit, and can be removed for easy cleaning. This simple two piece design cleans up quick in your sink, and eliminates the need to clean a sticky drip tray on the unit.

Included with all models are a a C02 bottle mounting bracket, removeable refrigerator shelf, integral tower cooling fan. You select the beer tower/faucet option that is right for you, and a free KegLand MK4 Dual Gauge Regulator is included.

Setup is easy with Duotight connections included for everything from the faucet shanks to the included regulator. These make it easy to connect and disconnect gas and beer lines, and eliminate the need for hose clamps. As noted below, you will need additional parts depending on how many faucets you get, and if you want to dispense home brew or a commercial keg.

Note that kegerators need 4″ of clearance on both sides when installing so they do not overheat, so this model cannot be installed flush into a countertop with no side clearance like a dishwasher.

The KegLand Cannular can seamer is one of the most compact and easy to use benchtop can seamers around. With a single operator you can seam/seal the cans in under 5 seconds meaning this compact machine is suitable for small breweries or brewpubs doing small production runs. The Cannular comes with a die for a size 202 beer can lid.  Additional dies will be available in the future, but for right now, only cans with a size 202 lid can be canned on this machine.

SAFE 24 VOLT POWER (OPTIONAL) If you have ever used a can seamer you would know that you can sometimes spill liquids while processing cans. As a result we have made the Cannular machine with 24v DC so even when you make a mess you don’t have a risk of electrocuting yourself. This also makes the machine easier to clean and wash down. An optional step down transformer plugs into any 110 volt outlet. If you do not purchase this optional transformer, you need to get an Anderson Plug twin wire lead so you can feed power into the Cannular Canning Machine.  Suitable DC power sources besides transformers include cordless drill batteries, and even car batteries.

GO ANYWHERE & EASILY RECYCLED Cans are a fantastic choice for outdoor events, parties, pool events, or at the beach. Broken glass can be dangerous and difficult to clean up completely. Cans on the other hand are the safest choice in this respect.

LIGHT BLOCK  Many beverages especially beer can get damaged quickly due to light. If you expose many beers to sunlight for even 5 minutes the beer can become light damaged (“skunked”). Even softer light such as indoor lights will damage beer over time and noticeable skunking can occur with both incandescent and fluorescent light globes within hours. So unless you keep your glass bottles in the dark all the time you will compromise the beer quality. Aluminium cans solve this problem by blocking 100% of damaging light. Dimensions 14″ depth x 9″ wide x 20″ height.

This stainless cooling coil is 4″ wide and 27″ long, and fits a variety of fermenters, including the Fermzilla by KegLand. Note that you will need to cut the pipes with a tubing cutter to get it to fit the smaller 27 liter Fermzilla. The hole diameter needed for the tubing bulkheads is 7/8″ or 22mm. These holes can be easily cut with our Step Drill, item C67.

The stainless tubing itself is 9.8mm (.37″) in diameter, and Duotight bulkheads are included to attach the pipes to your fermenter lid. You can also attach 3/8″ tubing with hose clamps if desired to the tubing ends to run your cooling or heating water.
