If you’ve looked for discounted Blichmann BoilerMaker kettles for very long, you’ll soon learn that they… are few and far between. Prices on Blichmann gear are generally standardized minimum pricing requirements. One exception to that are SCD – Slight Cosmetic Damage gear.

Great Fermentations has access to a supply of “Slight Cosmetic Damage” BoilerMaker Kettles. Current stock includes 7.5, 10 and 30 gallon sizes. They qualify for flat rate shipping.

These kettles are marked down as part of GF’s Father’s Day Sale. Also worth noting… SCD BrewEasy Systems are also part of that sale.

From the description the slight cosmetic damage is… slight. I have two G1 Boilermaker kettles and I love them.

If you’ve looked for discounted Blichmann BoilerMaker kettles for very long, you’ll soon learn that they… do not exist. Prices on Blichmann gear are standardized. Great Fermentations has access to a supply of discounted “Slight Cosmetic Damage” BoilerMaker Kettles. Current stock includes 7.5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 gallon sizes. From the description (and from feedback we’ve gotten back) it sounds like the slight cosmetic damage is… slight. I have two Boilermaker kettles and I love them.

Great Fermentations is typically quick to pick up news on Blichmann gear. I believe the official reason for that is… Vulcan Mind Meld. 🙂 Just kidding.

Anyway, enough hilarity, on to the actual news. Bryan from Great Fermentations says that… “The supply of the Blichmann G1 20 Gallon Slightly Damaged pots is dwindling very fast. If anyone is waiting in the wings for one, now’s the time to get them.”

These are dropped ship so that means the entire available stock of 20 Gallon G1 kettles is almost gone.

Blichmann Engineering’s G2 Kettle is available in 7.5 through 55 gallon sizes. The BoilerMaker G2 is designed and manufactured in the US. It includes a Sight Glass w/Laser Etched Volume Markers, Adjustable Angle BrewMometer Thermometer, Linear Flow Valve and tool-less dip tube. The G2 also features a 1.2 height to diameter ratio.
