What I like about this scale… This has a 5,000 gram capacity. That figures to about 176 ounces or about 11 lbs. It also features a .1 gram resolution. Given the relatively high capacity, that’s a lot of accuracy. Typically resolution goes down as capacity goes up. I also like that it has the tare feature, that it features a stainless top and that it uses easy to find AAA batteries. Given the specifications it should work for weighing gram, hops, other brew ingredients and more.

This is unique in that it has two platforms. One higher capacity/lower resolution and one lower capacity/higher resolution. My general tip is to use two scales. This unit combines two scales into one.

Things I like about this scale…

It uses (easy to find AAA batteries – search AmazonBasics Batteries),
It has the Tare Feature. That allows you to essentially zero out your container to get a true picture of the weight of the contents.
And… this has a remote display. That makes it easier to weigh larger items, like… buckets of grain.
