I’ve seen the capacity of this container described a couple different ways. 67 quarts and 55 lbs.

My rule of thumb for grain storage is 5 lbs per gallon. 67 quarts = 16.75 gallons. At 5 lbs per gallon that’s… 83.75 lbs of grain storage. This is an estimate. It should easily hold a full 50 to 55 lb bag of grain with room to spare. These are estimates.

I use these exact containers for all sorts of things around the brewery and my house.

Possible homebrew-related uses – yeast cake storage, store smaller amounts of ingredients, yeast rehydration, storing and organizing smaller parts and pieces around your homebrewery and general storage. My rule of thumb for ummilled grain storage is 5 lbs per gallon. 65 quarts is 16.25 gallons. At 5 lbs per gallon a 16.25 gallon container would hold about 81.25 lbs of grain. This is a rough estimate. Actual capacity will vary.
