According to specs on the manufacture’s website model #NMP-XL has a capacity of 67 quarts. 67 quarts = 16.75 gallons. My rule of thumb for unmilled grain storage is 5 lbs per gallon. At that rate this would hold about 83.75 lbs of grain. 67 quarts should be able to easily hold a full 50 to 55 lb bag of grain. This is a rough estimate. Actual capacity will vary.

This has a stated capacity of 32.5 quarts. 32.5 quarts = 8.125 gallons. My rule of thumb for unmilled grain storage is 5 lbs per gallon. At that rate this would hold about 40.6 lbs of grain. That’s a rough estimate based on an assumed size, actual storage capacity will vary.

I’ve seen the capacity of this container described a couple different ways. 67 quarts and 55 lbs.

My rule of thumb for grain storage is 5 lbs per gallon. 67 quarts = 16.75 gallons. At 5 lbs per gallon that’s… 83.75 lbs of grain storage. This is an estimate. It should easily hold a full 50 to 55 lb bag of grain with room to spare. These are estimates.

As of this posting, Iris’ website shows this [item 300555] as 12.75 Quarts or 3.1 gallons. My rule of thumb on grain storage is 5 lbs per gallon. With that estimate, this should hold about 15.5 lbs of unmilled grain. That’s a rough estimate, actual capacity will vary.

Hands On Review: TRINITY EcoStorage NSF Stainless Steel Table

I picked up Trinity’s EcoStorage Stainless Table toward the end of 2014. I wanted a sturdy, easy to clean table for around the brewery tasks and storage.
