Are you a homebrewer interested in expanding your fermentation hobby? Well, why not jump into winemaking! Our wine kits are an excellent way to make high quality wine at home, without requiring all of the large equipment that wineries use. We have dozens to choose from, so no matter what your favorite type of wine, we’re certain to have a kit you’ll like!
A captivating blend of four distinct grapes that reveals intense fruity aromas on opening. This full bodied red offers rich flavors of black cherry, mocha, spice and vanilla and closes with a velvety, smooth finish.
Cellar Craft’s Showcase Series red wine kits include a huge 18 L of varietal juice and concentrate. Additionally, Cellar Craft is the only kit manufacturer who includes a crushed skin pack made from over 12lb of entirely new, fresh, never-processed skins that come from the same harvest lot as the juice in your kit. These skins have more tannin and flavor to impart in the wine and are 100% true to the varietal that you’re making. This unique practice in the wine kit industry may cost a little more to produce, but we think you’ll agree that the results are well worth it!
Like other kits on the market, Cellar Craft’s Showcase Series red wine kits come with all the ingredients you’ll need to make a great wine out of the box. However, we encourage you to also experiment with different yeast strains and oak styles to create a wine that is exactly what you’re looking for and truly unique.
While technically ready to bottle and drink in 6 weeks, Cellar Craft recommends aging these wines for 1 year or more to see full development of the wine’s character. Choose to age in the carboy if you want the opportunity to play around with acidity and finishing tannins later, or age in the bottle to see what you get straight from the manufacturer. Just be careful – we all know how hard it is to keep your hands off once the wine’s in the bottle!
