Bulk Keg QD Quick Disconnect Replacement O-Rings
Ball Lock and Pin Lock Keg QDs have an internal o-ring gasket that keeps liquid and gas from leaking out the top side.
I’ve found that it’s pretty easy to lose these. Beyond that, they wear out and crack. I’ve also had some that have gotten seated incorrectly and ended up becoming mis-formed so that they no longer sit properly.

If you’re looking for CM Becker (and compatible) OEM replacement parts, that’s easy… check out Keg Connection. They have a nice diagram that shows all the parts and pieces – (gaskets, spring, stem and caps) for both ball lock and pin lock QDs. See: Disconnect Parts List at Keg Connection
This post is a look at a non-OEM replacement option, that I’ve found works well in standard ball lock and pin lock style QDs.

On the left is an OEM o-ring on the right is the food grade silicone oring. As you can see the silicone o-ring is slightly larger. Here’s my attempt to show the difference in thickness. Probably not a lot of help. Sufficed to say the non-oem option is a little thicker.Silicone o-ring in the QDFinally with the cap tightened down. Notice the cap is slightly above the QD body.
These are not OEM, but in my experience they have fit in all QDs that I’ve tried. Your experience may vary. These are relatively inexpensive, that means it’s easy to have spares on hand when the need arises.
Troubleshooting… just like OEM gaskets, these can become improperly seated. Make sure they’re laying flat and centered inside the QD body.
Save Money, Buy In Bulk
Single O-Rings can cost 50 cents each or more. Buying in bulk will save you money, potentially a lot of money.
Recommendation, Use Food Grade O-Rings Here: This o-ring probably has the most contact with your beer. It touches all beer served and has extended contact with beer sitting in the QD between pours. In my opinion, it’s important to use food grade materials here. More about food grade o-rings
