This valve is the heart of my Spunding Valve Build. It is a manually adjustable pressure relief valve. Adjustable from 0 to 100 PSI. I’ve found the pressure markings on this to be difficult to use/possibly inaccurate. My Spunding Build accounts for this via a pressure gauge. There is no homebrewing-related situation I’m aware of that would have you at 100 PSI. Generally you’d be at or below 30 PSI. As always, you’ll want to ensure that all components in your system (kegs, tubing, etc) are rated for your desired pressure.

Is this accurate??
Ove time I’ve received this question several times.
I take it to mean, is the scale that’s printed on the side of this PRV accurate?
My answer is… It doesn’t really matter. Whether or not it’s accurate or not doesn’t really matter as far as I’m concerned. For my purposes the scale doesn’t offer the granularity needed for my application. This is the reason that my Spunding Builds include pressure gauges. A gauge offers far more precision (some up to .1 PSI) and control.
