The KOMOS Rubicon Draft Box is the ideal option for serving beer at your next cookout, tailgater, or camping trip. This dual tap jockey box is built around the ultra-tough, rotomolded Rubicon Cooler and features the aluminum cast Slimline cold plate for compact, efficient cooling. Everything you need to rig up the draft box is included and only takes minutes to assemble. Along with the cooler and cold plate, you’ll receive stainless steel forward-sealing Intertap faucets, stainless Intertap shanks, self-closing faucet springs, tap handles, EVABarrier draft line, and Duotight fittings for all connections.
Rubicon Cooler
With durable rotomolded body, high density polyurethane insulation and compression seal lid, the Rubicon will hold ice for days on end, even in the hottest of climates. Rotomolding is a procedure that ensures every part of the cooler is made with a continuous thick wall with minimal imperfections. This makes the cooler extremely tough, and is one of the features that have made YETI® coolers such a hit. High density polyurethane foam walls offer superior insulation compared to cheaper ice chest options, which means ice will hold for far longer and ensure your draft box doesn’t warm up before you’re done pouring beers. There are certainly cheaper draft boxes out there, designed with far cheaper coolers, but none of them will stand up to the Rubicon’s long-lasting performance.
Slimline Cold Plate
The KOMOS Slimline Cold Plate is made from rugged aluminum casting with a large thermal mass for excellent heat absorption. High conductivity aluminum alloy aids the heat transfer as your beverage travels through the internal 18 ft. long stainless steel lines. We love cold plates for low volume applications, as they’re easy to connect to, easy to store, and leave plenty of room in the cooler for other food or beverages.
Duotight Fittings & EVABarrier Draft Tubing
Duotight and EVABarrier have revolutionized how you connect draft line. We love it in the KOMOS commercial and residential kegerators, and we’re excited to see the same ease-of-assembly introduced to draft boxes. Duotight fittings offer a quick connection, reliable seal, and versatility. Setting up and connecting draft line has never been easier — no more hose clamps or heating water to soften tubing! EVABarrier tubing has been engineered with protection in mind and is both PVC-free and BPA-free. This double walled tubing offers superior protection against oxidation, CO2 loss, and microbial growth. EVA tubing is the future of draft line for professional applications, and now your draft box will feature the same first-class tubing.
We recommend adding Duotight fittings to use for your keg connections as well. Depending on whether you’ll be serving from homebrew kegs or commercial sanke kegs, you’ll need two DUO106 or two DUO104 per line.
